Please read these terms before booking a lesson or purchasing a lesson package. These policies explain how lessons, bookings, payments, refunds, and student information are handled.
Before booking your Arabic lesson
By booking a lesson or purchasing a lesson package with LanguageHunter, you agree to the policies below.
1 Our Services
LanguageHunter provides online Arabic lessons for non-native speakers.
Lessons may include Arabic vocabulary, pronunciation, conversation, reading, sentence building, Qur’an recitation correction, and other Arabic learning needs depending on the student’s level and goals.
Lessons are provided online through a video meeting platform such as Zoom, Google Meet, or another suitable online tool.
Lesson duration depends on the type of lesson or package purchased. Some lessons may be shorter, such as a discounted first lesson, while regular lessons may be up to 60 minutes.
2 Booking Policy
Students are responsible for choosing and booking a suitable lesson time through the booking system or the available booking method on the website.
Available lesson times are usually displayed according to the student’s local time zone through the booking system. Students should carefully check the selected date and time before confirming their booking.
After booking, students should make sure they are available at the selected time and have a stable internet connection before the lesson begins.
Students are responsible for having a stable internet connection, a working microphone, and access to the meeting link before the lesson starts.
3 Rescheduling Policy
Students may request to reschedule a lesson up to 8 hours before the scheduled lesson time.
Rescheduling requests made less than 8 hours before the lesson may not be accepted, unless there is a serious or exceptional situation.
To request a change, students should contact LanguageHunter as early as possible.
All official requests related to rescheduling, cancellation, refunds, or privacy should be sent through the official contact method provided on the website.
4 Late Arrival and No-Show Policy
The teacher will wait up to 10 minutes after the scheduled lesson start time.
If the student does not join within 10 minutes and does not contact the teacher, the lesson may be considered missed.
Missed lessons due to student no-show are not refundable and may not be rescheduled.
If the student arrives late, the lesson will still end at the originally scheduled time.
Technical problems on the student’s side, such as internet issues, device problems, microphone problems, or failure to access the meeting link, may not qualify for a refund or free rescheduling.
5 Teacher Cancellation or Delay
If LanguageHunter or the teacher needs to cancel or reschedule a lesson, the student will be offered a new lesson time.
If rescheduling is not suitable, the student may request a refund for that specific lesson.
6 Payment Policy
Payment must be completed before the lesson or lesson package is confirmed.
Available payment methods may include PayPal, card payments, or other supported payment options depending on what is available on the website.
LanguageHunter does not store full payment card details. Payments are processed through third-party payment providers.
Any transaction fees, currency conversion fees, or charges applied by payment providers such as PayPal or banks are outside the control of LanguageHunter.
7 Refund Policy
Refunds are available only within 48 hours of payment, provided that the lesson has not already taken place.
After 48 hours from payment, refunds are generally not available.
A refund may be considered after 48 hours only in serious or exceptional circumstances, and the request must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled lesson time.
The discounted first lesson offer is non-refundable, except if the lesson is cancelled by LanguageHunter or cannot be provided by the teacher.
Missed lessons, late cancellations, no-shows, or technical problems on the student’s side are not refundable.
Approved refunds may take several business days to appear, depending on the payment provider, bank, or card issuer.
8 Lesson Packages Policy
Lesson packages are valid for 4 months from the date of purchase.
Students are responsible for booking and using all lessons in the package before the package expires.
Unused lessons after the 4-month period may expire and may not be refunded.
Lesson packages are for the original student only and cannot be transferred to another person unless LanguageHunter gives written approval.
9 Discounted First Lesson
The discounted first lesson is designed to help the student try the learning method, discuss goals, and understand the suitable learning path.
This offer is available only once per student.
The discounted first lesson is non-refundable unless the lesson is cancelled by LanguageHunter.
10 Learning Results
LanguageHunter aims to provide clear, practical, and helpful Arabic lessons.
However, learning results may vary from one student to another. Progress depends on many factors, including attendance, practice, review, motivation, and the student’s personal learning pace.
LanguageHunter does not guarantee a specific result within a specific period of time.
11 Students Under 18
Students under the age of 18 should have permission from a parent or legal guardian before booking lessons or making payments.
A parent or guardian may be asked to communicate with LanguageHunter when needed, especially for younger students.
12 Lesson Recording
Lessons are not recorded unless both the student and LanguageHunter agree in advance.
Students may not record, share, or publish any lesson without permission.
13 Learning Materials
Any materials, worksheets, lesson notes, videos, images, examples, or files shared with the student are for personal learning use only.
Students may not copy, sell, publish, upload, distribute, or share LanguageHunter materials without written permission.
14 Student Conduct
Students are expected to behave respectfully during lessons and communication.
LanguageHunter does not accept abusive language, harassment, discrimination, offensive behavior, or inappropriate use of lessons.
If a student behaves in an inappropriate or disrespectful way, LanguageHunter may end the lesson, refuse future bookings, or cancel the service without refund.
15 Website Content
All content on the LanguageHunter website, including text, images, designs, course materials, lesson explanations, and learning methods, belongs to LanguageHunter unless otherwise stated.
You may not copy, reproduce, or reuse website content without permission.
16 Privacy Policy
LanguageHunter may collect basic information such as:
- Name
- Email address
- Booking details
- Learning goals
- Arabic level
- Payment confirmation details
- Messages sent through the website or email
This information is used to provide lessons, manage bookings, communicate with students, and improve the learning experience.
LanguageHunter does not sell students’ personal information.
Students may contact LanguageHunter to request correction or deletion of their personal information, where possible and reasonable.
17 Third-Party Services
LanguageHunter may use third-party services for booking, payment processing, email communication, video meetings, email delivery, or website hosting.
These services may have their own terms and privacy policies. LanguageHunter is not responsible for technical issues, payment delays, service interruptions, failed notifications, or other problems caused by third-party providers.
18 Changes to These Policies
LanguageHunter may update these Terms and Policies from time to time.
Any changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the website or services after changes are published means that the student accepts the updated policies.
